I was an avid weightlifter before I found Get Glutes, but I was always afraid of using heavy weights for my lower body because I thought that it would just make my lower body bigger (I’m naturally smaller and leaner up top, so a larger lower body was not what I wanted). But when I first read about Get Glutes I was intrigued, because I had never thought about training my glutes before, and I liked the idea of growing myself a booty!
Was I still worried about my legs getting bigger? Sure, but the prospect of improving the way my butt looked seemed worth the risk, so I dove in and I haven’t looked back since! Nearly 2 years later, my butt is much more perky, my legs haven’t gotten any bigger, and my lower body is much leaner and more firm! Never in a million years would I have believed that my lower body would respond to heavy lifting by getting tighter and sleeker. I love the way I look, and I’ve learned that I LOVE lifting lower body!
I am so glad I gave Get Glutes a shot! While I’m happy with the physical results I’ve gotten, I’m even more thrilled with how my experience with Get Glutes has changed the way I look at fitness. I used to spend hours doing cardio and beating my body into the ground because I thought that the best way to get results was by doing more, more, and more. But Bret and Kellie have shown me that that’s not the case. I’ve gotten much better results training only 4 days a week than I did training 6 days a week, and I have more time in my life for other things. Oh, and I should mention-- I don’t do ANY CARDIO! There’s nothing not to like about that! Whether you’re a beginner lifter or an experienced lifter looking for a change of pace, Get Glutes is worth a shot.
